Our very good friends Lori & Jane stopped by on Thursday to check out my Auction Finds. While here we had a cup of Hot Chocolate and caught up on what we have be doing..
Always good to see them..
For those of you that may not know Lori & Jane, they are the girls that take your admission at our "Gathered Treasures Show" and our second set of hands at our
"In The Sprit Of Friends" Show..
They also have a darling cabin called "Crow Hollow"..You may click on my Road Trips and scroll down and visit this wonderful place they share with their husbands,family and friends..

When they came for their visit they brought gifts for Julie & Carol and I..Totally unexpected, they wanted to thank us for letting them be a part of our shows and joining in on the fun..I told them we appreciate everything they do for us and we love having them..Be sure and say Hi to Lori & Jane when you see them at our Spring Gathered Treasures on
April 14th, 10-4.

This is how our gifts looked...All wrapped up in some cute tissue paper..Tucked inside this cute kraft paper bag with a primitive sheep label and tied up with a grungy chessecloth tie..

Well as promise I am showing my

But first I will show you what I bought for myself.
White Metal Bread Box
I just love it! The Auction had two rings going and I missed this...when I got to the other side of the building it was sold..So after asking around, I found that our good friend Ken had bought it and he was so nice to resale it to me..I was thrilled!!

I had my eye on this old green box from the very beginning..Again, they were selling all these great old boxes "your choice", I just held my breath that no one else grabbed it..So it needs a good cleaning and I will gently remove the black guck on the front without harming the old green paint..
Now the fun begins on cleaning all these wonderful finds and getting them ready to sell..

Give up! With it being a nice day
last Tuesday, I called my mother-in-law
Helen and asked her if she would like to
take a ride to Malabar Farms..
So after grabbing some lunch for our trip
down we were on our way..A perfect day
to go..Helen had a wonderful time and it
was good to get her out for awhile and
just enjoy the day..She is a very dear
person with a loving heart for her family.
And we love her soooo much!!!

What a beautiful day it was for a Road Trip..I haven't been to Amish Country for awhile and I needed to do Christmas Shopping for Julie and Carol..I did find something for Julie and I do believe she is going to like it..Sorry cannot show picture here..Carol not so lucky still looking for her..If you have never been to Amish Country in Holmes County, you really need to make a trip there..I have several favorite Antique Shops I like to visit while there..And I did find some things to resale..

Exciting News from Michigan!!!!
(Jackie & "buzz lightyear" aka Brady)
We just returned from a week vacation
with Jackie & her family..
On Wed. she went for her ultrasound
to find out what she will be having..
She is blessing us with a little
granddaughter due on April 3rd..
OMGosh!!! We are soooo excitied and
can hardly wait for her to arrive..
Needless to say we went shopping the
next day to get her wardrobe started :<)
Plenty of that yet to come..
Jackie is feeling great and doing fine.
Tuesday I went with her
to her Dr. appt..Her doctor is a very nice
man and she is very comfortable with him
I think I am finally coming
down from cloud 9..Ha Ha!!!
It is going to be so much fun to
have a little girl to buy for..
They are keeping her name a secret..

The girls and I would like to thank all our vendors for sharing the day with us..You make our show the success that it is, we are so very lucky to have all of you and to call you our friends..
We could not ask for a better group of people..It means so much to us to see you helping a fellow vendor with their booth or maybe backing in a trailer or just helping them with unloading..
We see these little gestures and appreciated them very much..The girls and I strive to put together a show were everyone can just relax and have a great time and I do believe from what we have been hearing and seeing we are doing just that..So thank you for your kindness..

I have finally caught a few mintues to share some pictures of Paige Price's Farm..Where the "The Rural Society Antique Show" was held on Oct. 14th & 15th..
Coming up the lane to the Farm..
I Love this old truck!!!
The front of her home..See the kitty on the right..I was fortune enough to take a tour of her home on the day of set-up..Her home is beautiful inside..Paige has great taste in decorating..Loved everything!! And quess what? You will get to see Paige's home yourself..She will be featured in the Spring issue of Country Living, how cool is that!!!

When you step out of her house..You are greeted with this wonderful sitting area..Love the table..The building you see is the Maple Sugar House..What a great building..
This cutie was catching alittle "catnap" inside the Maple Sugar House..
This little girl was also catching alittle nap inside the Maple Sugar House before the show began.
This area is behind the Maple Sugar House. Her gardens are amazing..
I know this is not a very good picture..I took it thru the screen door of the Maple Sugar House..Paige has alot of interesting things tucked in her gardens..
Welcome to the "Milkhouse Cafe"
This is the most adorable building..One could actually live here..Loved it!!! The upstairs has Antique furniture and 3 twin beds made up with old quilts..Vendors could spend the night there if they wanted too..

Brady loves Bud Lightyear and Jackie said, he was pretending to be him..

Brady was being very serious riding his little motorcycle Jackie said, that it was hard to get him to smile..He loved it when it went up the little incline on the track..

Sure brings back memories of when our kids were little and watching them having fun riding these little rides and how serious they were ..Now to see your child experience the same thing..Boy, time sure does fly by...
